Privacy Notice · Last updated 21 July 2026
Your images are part of your home, and deserve care.
This notice explains what information is collected when you contact Ambient Mood Studio and how it is used.
Who handles your information
Ambient Mood Studio is the data controller for project enquiries. Contact: ambientmoodstudio@gmail.com.
Information you may provide
The contact form collects your name, email address, package and mood preferences, project description and consent confirmation. It does not accept or upload room photographs.
Room photographs
Room photographs are requested only after your initial enquiry, by a personal email response. They are not uploaded through this website, stored in a website database or sent to a file-upload platform. Please do not send photographs containing people, identity documents, financial information, visible passwords, private correspondence or other unnecessary personal data.
Why it is used
- To respond to your enquiry and understand the requested project.
- To recommend an appropriate package, scope and next step.
- To prepare or perform a service if you later agree to proceed.
- To keep necessary business and correspondence records.
The information is not used for unrelated automated profiling. Room photographs are used only to create and deliver your project, and are never published as portfolio content.
Legal basis
Enquiry data is processed to take steps at your request before entering a contract and, where applicable, for legitimate business interests in responding and maintaining necessary records. Optional publication or marketing use requires separate permission.
Form delivery and international processing
The website uses a form delivery service only for your written enquiry. Room photographs are never submitted through the website or to a file-upload platform. Your email provider and hosting provider may process standard technical or message data. Because the service is international, processing may occur outside your country. Review the policies of these providers before submitting information you consider sensitive.
Retention and security
Room photographs are requested by email only when needed for an active project. They are deleted after that individual project is completed and are not kept in a website database. Enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and manage the project. Reasonable precautions are used, but no internet transmission or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to certain processing, or request a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis. Email the address above with a clear request; identity may need to be verified.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics is optional and is loaded only after you select “Accept analytics” in the consent panel. When enabled, it helps measure visits, page views, general interaction patterns and successful project enquiry submissions so the website can be improved. Google may process technical information such as device, browser, approximate location and IP-derived data, including outside your country. The website does not use advertising cookies.
Your analytics choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. Selecting “Reject” does not limit the website or contact form. You can review or change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” button. Google Fonts is loaded from Google’s servers and may receive standard technical request data when fonts are requested.
Changes
This notice may be updated when the site, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
This operational privacy notice is provided for transparency and is not a substitute for legal advice. Before launch, the website owner should review it against the business location, target markets, providers and actual retention practices.
